Fergal joined Michael Kennedy Insurance Group in 1994 commencing his career in the personal lines department and quickly progressing to commercial lines. He attended college by night and obtained a BBS Insurance in 2003 followed by his QFA and CIP. Fergal became a director of MKIG in 2003 and now manages the business. Fergal is a past president of Brokers Federation Of Ireland.

Fergal is married with 3 children. When not chasing after his young family he can generally be found on a golf course or at a GAA match.

Maria became a director of the company in 1997 and manages the Accounts Section.

In her spare time she is a keen photographer and loves gardening and cooking. She also loves to spend time with her 8 grandchildren spoiling them rotten!

Michael founded the company in 1973. He is professionally qualified as an ACII (Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute). He is well experienced in all classes of insurance from Property, Liability, Marine, Bonds, and more! Michael is also a council member of Fingal Dublin Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club of Dublin Fingal.

Michael is married with 3 children and is a former inter county hurler and footballer and is an avid fan of all sports and is currently a member of The Island Golf Club.
